Self Help Technique – Wake up your brain

This self help technique is super quick and easy to do.  In this process you are activating your central meridian.  The central meridian runs from the perineal area to the lower lip and its energy is considered to be associated with the brain. So by activating this meridian you are also ‘waking up’ your brain.  This activity can be helpful for re-energising your thinking during a long day studying or sitting at a computer
Take a long slow breath in as you brush your hand upwards along the middle of your body, from the pubic bone to under the lips. Trace your hand on, or close to your body.
Then breathe out slowly as you move the hand away from your body and out to the side then lower to repeat from the pubic bone again.
